<p> Static stretching requires players to stretch their muscles to a point of resistance and hold for a given duration of time. Recurring motions, rebounding, and rhythmic bouncing are performed by the players while doing dynamic stretching. In comparison with static stretching, it is more risky and less useful.</p>
<p> This article discusses some benefits of stretching that go a long way in making a good player great.</p>

<p> Stretching reduces injuries: Stretching helps bring down the risks of injury when performed over a period of time by stretching the muscles daily, thus promoting their growth. Stretching also provides an effective way of enhancing the muscle size and strength.</p>
<p> Stretching influences flexibility: Stretching puts off the loss of flexibility. However, the support is more convincing for a long-term stretching line up than for shorter periods of time.</p>
<p> Performing stretching for a few minutes before starting any playing activity is likely to enhance flexibility. But, of all the soccer training tips, the best is where stretching program is extended over a longer period of time that constantly improves the player’s range of motion.</p>
<p> Stretching perks up performance: When stretching program is designed specifically to suit soccer needs of the players, their performance improves.</p>
<p> Make sure that the kids enjoy stretching: Make stretching fun for the kids by including a variety of soccer drills into your session. Keep changing the type of warm up exercises that you perform before stretching. Try tag games, ball tag, and keep away.</p>
<p> Focus mentally on the stretching and feel and understand each stretch, checking for stiffness or soreness.</p>
<p> In most of the cases a single 15-30 minute stretch for each muscle group is enough for kids but some may need longer stretches or more repetitions.</p>
<p> The reason for this is that when the temperature of muscles is higher than normal, stiffness decreases and extensibility increases. Those players who wish to sustain or increase their flexibility can partially attain this goal by stretching. When their body temperature is higher as against normal, it makes it safer and more productive to stretch.</p>
<p> This is why some coaches tend to make their kids perform stretching exercises after a workout as well. After practicing soccer skills, if kids are made to do some stretching for 5-7 minutes, it’ll prevent their muscles from tightening too fast.</p>
<p> In general, players who do an active warm-up before stretching get an improved range of motion than kids who only stretch. So if injury prevention is your aim, stop stretching before exercise and increase the warm up time.</p>
<p> Some food for thought; one of the most important soccer training tips is that hurried stretching is meaningless and boring and doesn&#8217;t help your players gain flexibility, so allow them some extra time when they are feeling inflexible or stiff. <p> Soccer weight training requires muscles to be strong, speedy and resistant instead of adding pounds of useless bulk in muscles. Upper body weight training for soccer is not as important as is for the legs, but we still do it for overall conditioning and strength.</p>
<p> I think fitness training should start with the legs. Begin with the squatting exercises. After a light warm-up set, load the bar to a weight you think your players can get 20 reps with. Supposing they are strong enough, so let them go with 220 pounds first. This practice is performed by getting below the bar, and putting it across their upper back and then stand up with it.</p>
<p> Next tell them to stand having their shoulders and feet width apart. They must hold it as they go down until their hips are slightly lower than the top of their knees. Coming up to this point in weight training soccer, they are supposed to stand up fast and exhale. Tell them to continue this practice for at least 20 reps even when they are completely exhausted.</p>

<p> They should be given a break of 5-10 minutes before switching to the leg curl machine to work on hamstrings. They are required to do 15 repetitions of 4 sets each. They will be required to perform 4 sets of 15 reps on the Stiff-Legged Dead lift between each set of Leg Curl exercises. Since hamstrings are very important to a player&#8217;s speed, so you want them to be very strong.</p>
<p> Then conclude your leg workout with 3 sets of 25 reps on the Standing calf-raise machine.</p>
<p> Now for the upper body work out begin with the Incline bench press.<br /> When they are done with the warm ups, they should continue with extra weights so that the next set of 10 reps becomes tougher. A total of 5 sets of 10 repetitions are required with the weights, while stretching their chest and shoulders, yet pausing to relax for 2 minutes in the middle of each set.</p>
<p> The second exercise for this portion of the soccer strength training is pull-ups. They should work out on their biceps and back by making their palms facing their body. Finally the upper body exercises include abdominals and performing 5 sets of 20 or more reps of leg raises. Conclude with 5 sets of 50 or more crunching exercises.</p>

<p> Strength Endurance: It is the capacity of a muscle group to make repetitive and high-intensity movements. Strength endurance and power both are essential for soccer.</p>
<p> If you are a coach you should concentrate on increasing strength endurance during your soccer routine. However if you don’t alter your training programs and continue with 3 sets of 8-12 reps each, your training programs will not reap much of productive results.</p>
